Thanks to The Meadows Addiction Treatment Center, Dr. Levine will be doing two events on the Eastern Seaboard this September, based on his best-selling book - In an Unspoken Voice, How the Body Releases Trauma and Restores Goodness. He will be joined in Boston by trauma pioneer, Bessel van der Kolk, M.D.
These presentations, designed for therapists, but approachable by all, will be a whirlwind tour, starting at the very beginnings of the animal world, through human development and our developing nervous system, onto the ethological connections to trauma. Several case studies and video examples will be shown in this dynamic and exciting events - one of my favorites.
Bessel van der Kolk is a premiere researcher on trauma, author of the seminal book Traumatic Stress
