As part of his lifetime achievement award with USABP, Dr. Levine will be offering two events in the Tiburon/Northern California area. The first will be a one-day Group Case Consultation that is open to ALL levels of SE® training on October 28th, 2010. The second will be a 3 day workshop for SE Practitioners and Students who have completed Advanced Level I on dealing with Near Death and Anesthesia states, October 29th, through 31st, 2010. In the USA over 29 million patients utilize powerful dissociative and amnesic agents…“general anesthesia”. Some individuals experience states of death from which they are revived. In fact,some of the deepest and seemingly most intractable trauma symptoms occur with clients who become “stuck” in these altered states of consciousness. Yet these same near death experiences(NDE’s) hold the extraordinary potential for deep positive and enduring personal spiritual transformation. All traumas involve an encounter with threat, and hence, a touch with death. This workshop, broken up over two classes, is the next step to enlarge your range of competency in order to guide your client through this perilous landscape. Participants will be taught the theoretical framework for understanding altered states and near death encounters and how to: - access and liberate problematic fixations
- develop and refine perceptual skills and practical tools
- resolve difficult somatic symptoms
- facilitate authentic spiritual experiences
- address these delicate states utilizing table touch work (experiential).
