Thanks to The Meadows Addiction Treatment Center, Dr. Levine will be doing two events on the Eastern Seaboard this September, based on his best-selling book - In an Unspoken Voice, How the Body Releases Trauma and Restores Goodness. He will be joined in Boston by trauma pioneer, Bessel van der Kolk, M.D. These presentations, designed for therapists, but approachable by all, will be a whirlwind tour, starting at the very beginnings of the animal world, through human development and our developing nervous system, onto the ethological connections to trauma. Several case studies and video examples will be shown in this dynamic and exciting events - one of my favorites. Bessel van der Kolk is a premiere researcher on trauma, author of the seminal book Traumatic Stress New York City AMA theater on 7th Avenue, will be on September 16. | Dr. Levine Receives a Lifetime Achievement Award From USABP! | | | |
| Written by Justin Snavely | | Monday, 09 August 2010 16:19 | Dr. Levine has been awarded the lifetime achievement award from the United States Association for Body Psychotherapy (USABP), at their annual conference October 22nd through the 24th at John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hills, Ca. Peter is thrilled to receive such an honor, and will be giving the Keynote address on October 23rd, as well as teaching a post-conference workshop and will be serving on the Conference panel in the afternoon.

As part of his lifetime achievement award with USABP, Dr. Levine will be offering two events in the Tiburon/Northern California area. The first will be a one-day Group Case Consultation that is open to ALL levels of SE® training on October 28th, 2010. The second will be a 3 day workshop for SE Practitioners and Students who have completed Advanced Level I on dealing with Near Death and Anesthesia states, October 29th, through 31st, 2010.
